We are willing to celebrate World Book Day at school for the year 2020-2021. Here are the projects that students have shared to help us find new reading adventures. If you are willing to find your next favourite book and become the perfect reader, you cannot miss the presentation below. An inspiring book can be a great therapy to cope with the end of the school year!

A PERFECT SUMMER BREAK

Dear all, 

I am sure you all agree with me on the fact that this has been a very weird year. However, that does not necessarily mean summer must also be odd, or does it? If you want to make a difference this season, how about embarking on a new experience? Visit our online library and indulge in the valuable resources it provides. Whether you are on a staycation or getting away, this is just the perfect site to take with you! Staying safe does not mean bored! 💪

VIRTUAL SCHOOL LIBRARY

Our library volunteers have been carrying out a great project! As a result, we now have a new virtual library at the EOI. Isn't it amazing? Visit the library, sit at one of the computers and download the free books to your e-reader, simply because reading is to the mind what exercise is to the body! Isn't that a fair enough reason to do it?

As you all know, next Monday is Book Day and it will be time to celebrate authors, illustrators, books and, most of all, reading. BOOK LENDING SERVICE FOR SUMMER 17

Our school library is offering a special book lending service for summer 17. You can borrow books from our library until 22 June and take them home for the summer holiday. So, there is no excuse to keep on enjoying reading in English on the beach!! For more information on timetables and service conditions have a look at the school library's blog. If you borrow a book, you'll get a free bag to keep them!

My intermediate students have worked hard with food, kitchen and utensils vocabulary. As a result, they have written some recipes with wonderful dishes. OUR CLASS CONTRACT

Here are the policies, rules and regulations that my Intensive Course students have agreed on in class today. These standards will apply to each and every class we have from now on.... which means: my students will be punctual and will not do overtime at the school canteen!

As for me, I will try to do as they say. We have signed all the contracts they have written... so we are all now legally responsible. Beware if you don't follow the rules!

Excellent classwork, folks!! Well-done!! Now we all know what is expected in class.

BOOK CLUB AT VALLE INCLÁN HIGH SCHOOL

Why not joining the book discussion club at Valle Inclán High School? A great opportunity to make new friends and have a chat in English. Members have to read the first eight chapters of THE BOOK THIEF by Markus Zusak and go to the meeting on 1 December (Room 5).
