DO YOU REMEMBER MY FAMILY?

We have been practising family words in class, using the saxon genitive to express relationships. Now let's see how much of it you can remember. 

Here is a picture of part of my family. I took it this summer when we were in France on holiday. Can you try and make all the connections? We did this activity in class... so this is just refreshing your memory!

Use the comments section below to write sentences about my family. Who's Marcos? Who's he married with? Who are his children? Who are my nephews and nieces? etc.

    Hi Paula !

    Martín and Clara are Paula´s children
    Juanco and Marcos are Paula´s brothers
    Raquel and Cruz are Paula´s sisters-in-law
    Mateo and Alex are Paula´s nephews
    Ceci and Mara are Paula´s nieces
    Marcos is Cruz´s husband, Mara is Cruz´s daughter and Alex is Cruz´s son, so Mara and Alex are siblings.
    Juanco is Raquel´s husband, Mateo is Raquel´s son and Ceci is Raquel´s daughter, so Mateo and Ceci are siblings.
    Juanco and Marcos are Paula´s brothers, so Mateo,Ceci,Alex,Mara,Martín and Clara are cousins.

    Hello Paula, here are my sentences for you.

    Are Martin and Clara your childrens? I am quite sure Martin is your son, and Clara is your daughter.

    Are Marcos and Juanco your brothers? I think sure Juanco is your oldest broher and Marcos is the youngest one. They are your son´s uncles.

    Is Raquel your sister in law? I think she is Juanco´s Wife. And i think Cruz is Marco´s Wife too.

    Are Marco and Cecilia brother and sister? I think they are Marco´s and Cruz´s Childreen. They are your nephew and niece, and they are your son´s cousins.

    Are the other two boys (Alex and Alba?, i can´t remember their names, neither read them in the photo) your nephew and niece? I Think they are the Juanco´s and Raquel´s Childreen. If they are, you are their aunt.

      Hi Miguel, just remember that the plural of sons and daughters is CHILDREN (WITH NO -S!!!) sometimes you have used "son´s" instead of "children´s". For eg. They are your children´s cousins

    Martin and Clara are your children.You and his father are divorced.
    Marcos is your youngest brother. His married with Cruz.
    Juanjo is your big brother. Raquel,like Cruz, is your sister-in-law. She's Juanjo's wife.
    Ceci and Marcos are Raquel's and Juanco's children. Finally, Mateo and the other one girl (I don't remember her name) are Cruz and Mateo's children.

      Hi... notice these mistakes "You and THEIR father are divorced" "HE´S married with cruz" and remember that my nephew is Mateo.. not Marcos. He´s my brother!!! Thanks for participating!

    - Cruz and Raquel are Paula´s sisters in law.
    - Alex and Mateo are Paula´s nephews.

    Marcos:
    - Paula is Marcos´s sister.
    - Juancor is Marco´s Brother.
    - Cruz or Raquel is Marcos´s wife.
    - Martín is Marcos´s nephew.
    - Clara is Marco´s niece.

    Martín:
    - Paula is Martín´s mother.
    - Clara is Martín´s sister.
    - Marcos and Juancor are Martin´s uncles.
    - Cruz and Raquel are Martín´s aunts.
    - Alex And Mateo are Martín´s cousins.

      Hi!! Who are you? can you identify yourself, unknown? Do not confuse "children" with son (in sentence number one "martin and clara are my children")

    Good night!!
    These are some connections about Paula's family:
    - Clara and Martín are Paula's children.
    - Mateo and Ceci are brothers and Juanco's children. So they are Clara's and Martín's cousins.
    - Marcos is Paula's youngest brother and he is Raquel's brother-in-law.
    Now I'll try to make some guesses about Porfi's family. I'm looking to second photografy of this post:
    - The boy on the picture's left is Porfi's youngest brother.
    - The woman on the picture's right with a high school student's fringe in her hands is Porfi's grandmother.
    - The woman near Porfi that is wearing a dark dress is porfi's mother.
